The Beths Record Packaging

The Beths are an indie band based in Auckland, New Zealand. For this school assignment, I chose to redesign the album art for one of their albums using only two process color plates. I selected Pantone Neon Navy and Pantone 803 C to create the imagery in Photoshop, combining the two plates with type designed in InDesign. The final composition was assembled into a single InDesign file, ready for offset printing. The goal of this redesign was to capture the album’s warm yet melancholic atmosphere and emphasize its theme of self-reflection.
